Dear Blog...

You have been neglected...I know that...but this is why...

We've been at the beach



I took the kids to a Renaissance Fair and scared the crap out of them! Seriously! They cried for about 2 hours every time someone in costume would even come NEAR them!
But then...we did turtle races...and all was ok!





We've been playing at home...some of us in our underwear!

(deleted this picture because I am realizing that pics of kids in their underwear are driving way too much traffic to my blog....DISGUSTING!!!)



Then...when the kids went to their dads...James and I went camping at the beach...It was our "trial run"...since I haven't been camping in SOOO long. I wanted to try it out before bringing the kids along! I can't WAIT to go back!


I'm still new at this outdoor thing!

and...because sometimes I still think like a 12 year old boy....this was in our "bonfire" wood pile!

Tubes, Adenoids...and Popsicles...

Cash got his second set of tubes this morning and his adenoids removed...we had to be at Children's Hospital at 5:40am!! That is EARLY! I forgot my camera...but got a phone shot of him waking up.

He threw up once when we got home...Anesthesia does that to you sometimes. Other than, he's been perfect...He even got to enjoy popsicles!


Now he's passed out! He is such a trooper!

Chasey...

Now if only I could convince her to do it more often...She REFUSES to model or do photoshoots....BUT...her dad told her that he was just taking her to the beach to take some photos just like mom does in the backyard...She did great and was a pro!

I mean really....

I am such a lucky girl!

Then Chasey and I went for these....

that is...after James and Chasey went to the mall this morning...and honestly...just the fact that he takes Chasey on his own to go get me something for Mother's Day means more to me than any present that they will give me!! He is amazing!

Then...Cash did some of this...

Then I took Chasey and Cash to a birthday party and did a little of this...

Now Chasey is asleep on the couch, Cash is playing quietly, James is golfing...and I'm about to pour myself a glass of wine and start dinner!

Happy Mother's Day to all Mom's out there!! I have so much respect for every mother...it truly is the hardest and most rewarding job in the world! Hug your babies...and have a relaxing day!

So...Chasey came to work with me last week...the day we went to Hannah Montana...She came with me for a couple of hours so I didn't have to drive all the way back to daycare to get her before heading to Hollywood...

She doesn't let me go to the bathroom at home alone...so why would work be any different...She's standing in the restroom with me...looks over...sees a stack of "see above picture" and asks me....

"Are those Coupons?"

Hannah Montana!!!!.....

So..My daughters dream came true last week! We were invited to attend a taping of HANNAH MONTANA!! An old friend of mine is a camerman on the show and he's been trying to get us in all season. This is the LAST season and the show actually wraps next week...FOR GOOD! It was a last minute trip, but I called my friend Jen and her and her daughter joined us for the day. Such a memorable experience for the girls...and us mommies!

For all you die-hard Hannah Montana fans...the set does not look familiar because this is the set for the FINAL season...which has not started to air yet. We were actually there for the 12th show out of 14 for the season

In the final season, they move into a new house in Malibu

The new hangout is "Santa Monica Pier" and no longer the beach hangout...this is the arcade

Blue Jeans (Miley's horse) now lives at the house...he can actually peek into the girls room from his stable


Chasey had the BIGGEST smile on her face all day! It was so great to get to experience this with her

again...the girls were SO lucky! They even got a script from the episode and laminated backstage passes!
I had all of the pictures made into a photo book for Chasey...I can't wait to get it. I figured that was a whole lot easier than letting a 5 year take a bunch of pictures to school to show her friends!
The day was amazing...I swear I have the BEST friends with some of the coolest jobs on the planet!!
